ABOUT EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

1. What is Emotional Intelligence?

Emotional Intelligence is a set of our emotional and social skills that establish how well we:

-Perceive and express ourselves

-Develop and maintain relationships

-Cope with challenges

-Master our stress

It is a key predictor of our success in the life and work.

2. What does Emotional Intelligence consist of?

Emotional Intelligence consists of 5 major scales:

Self-Perception - understanding yourself & your emotions

Self-Expression - expressing your emotions

Interpersonal - develop and maintain relationships

Decision Making - use emotions to make better decisions

Stress Management - cope with challenges

3. Is there a possibility to assess my Emotional Intelligence?

YES. There are several types of assessments available on the market which can evaluate your Emotional Quotient (EQ).

I purpose you EQ-i2.0 and EQ 360 assessment.

I chose them for one simple reason - they are the first scientifically validated EQ assessments. Additionally only certified coaches can administer it. You can easily take it online from any where  (your home, office....).

Once completed,  you will be provided with an in-depth report and personal feedback

4. Emotional Intelligence (EI)  vs  Cognitive Intelligence (IQ)

For many years schools and employers put a priority on technical skills and logical thinking.

But I believe that IQ and EI goes hand in hand. As for example you can be a bright Cambridge graduate, but if you lack empathy, or have difficulties to manage stressful situations, despite your excellent technical skills your success will be very quickly over.

The higher you wish to move up in your life, the more crucial your Emotional Intelligence becomes.

5. There are diverse ways to implement Emotional Intelligence:

  1. Individual Development

  2. Increase Organization Performance

  3. Leadership Development

  4. Customer Care Service

  5. Prepare Sales Professionals

  6. Team Building
